OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Quadtec has been specifically designed to ease the selection and setting of its various functions.
Pressing the Clock button switches the display into the time setting mode. A”T” prompt appears on the left and remains in view as the seconds, minutes, hour digits and AM/PM values are selected and flashed by the Select button and set by the Set button. Continued pressing of the Select button will activate prompts of “M”, “dA” and “Y” for setting the flashing values of the month, day and year with the Set button. The setting of the calendar functions automatically sets the day name of a 50-year calendar through year 2055. At any time the Clock button can be pressed again to return the watch to real time.
Quadtec has a three note melody as the alarm sound. Pressing and holding the melody button down until, an “Al” prompt appears on the left and the melody icon in the top of the display, switches the watch into the alarm setting mode. The hour is in the middle, minutes on the right and AM/PM below. Pressing the Select button flashes each of those functions for setting the desired alarm time by pressing the Set button in each case. Pressing the melody button at any time will return the watch to real time.
When the alarm melody sounds, pressing the melody will stop the sound and delete the melody icon from the display.

TIME SETTING
- Press the Clock button to see T on the left, hours in the center, minutes on the right and flashing seconds below.
- Press the SET button to reset seconds to zero (optional).
- Press the SELECT button repeatedly to flash each of the displayed mintues, the hours, and the AM/PM functions.
- Press the SET button to choose the correct value of each of these functions.
- Press nth Clock button to return to real time.
CALENDAR SETTING
- Press the Clock button once and the SELECT button repeatedly until each of the three prompts indicating M (ie. month), dA (ie. day) and Y (ie. year) is displayed to the left, with flashing digits above each prompt.
- Press the SET button to choose the correct value of each of these functions.
- Press the Clock button to return to real time
ALARM SETTING
- Press and hold down the Melody button until the melody icon is displayed on the top. AL on the left, hours in the center, minutes on the right and AM/PM below.
- Press the SELECT button repeatedly to flash each of the displayed minutes, the hours and the AM/PM functions.
- Press the SET button to choose the desired value of each of these functions.
- Press the Melody button to return to real time, with the melody icon remaining displayed.
ALARM OFF & REPETITION
- Press the Melody button to discontinue the alarm melody and extinguish the melody icon.
- Wait one minute.
- Press the Melody button to redisplay the melody icon and reactivate the alarm melody to sound again at the same set time 24 hours later.
NIGHT LIGHT
- Press the Light button to view the time for 5 seconds in the dark (auto off).
- Hold the button down for longer viewing time.
TIME MODE SELECTION
- While QUADTEC is displaying real time, press the SELECT button repeatedly to choose the desired EF, ES, or EU time mode.
