Do the cobalt and black cases have scratch resistance?

Yes. These dyes are ion infused into the steel cases which means that the dyes and cases are electrified with opposite electric charges. As a result the colors are attracted to penetrate deeper into the steel. Therefore, surface scratches expose only more of the colors without showing visible scratch marks

Do the User Instructions come in foreign languages?

The current Instructions contain English, Spanish and French translations. We are preparing a German translation, and thereafter a Russian language version. We also expect to prepare Japanese and Chinese versions, as well

Does Quadtec come with a warranty?

Yes. The watch has a two year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Is Quadtec available with a single crown control instead of buttons.

Equitime has prepared a preliminary design and functions for a single pull-out crown control which will completely replace the present buttons. The company plans to manufacture such a control in future under the name “Quadtec SCR”.

Is Quadtec water proof?

Quadtec is water resistant to the extent of 50 meters (165 feet). Water resistance means it can be exposed to rain or other precipitation and splashes without malfunctioning. Quadtec cannot be submerged in water or other liquids because it was not designed to be used as a divers watch

Is the Quadtec watch available in gift boxes?

Quadtec is sold in three types of packages designed by Equitime’s Art Director, Fredi Brodmann. Single watches with attached bracelets or bands come in a black rectangular case with a top lid kept closed by a metal spring-loaded clasp. Diamond versions come with attached bracelets in a white leatherette box and a stand for displaying the watch to onlookers. A triple box set includes a stainless steel watch with matching bracelet and two extra straps, white-stitched black leather and an orange silicone band. All packages include a screw driver tool for detaching and attaching a variety of bracelets, straps and bands.

What are the prices for diamond-decorated Quadtec watches.

These luxury versions of Quadtec range from $9,000 to $12,000 at retail. The specific price depends on the number of stones and locations where they are mounted.

What is the Quadtec “boxed set”?

This is a special edition package that provides the Quadtec stainless steel case and bracelet, polished or matte, together with extra white stitched, black leather and orange silicone straps. Also included is a small tool box containing a screw driver and extra screws that allows the customer to exchange the various bands to create different styling effects.

What is the Water Resistant Mark?

The Water Resistant mark is a common mark stamped on the back of wrist watches. It is usually accompanied by a rating in terms of meters or feet of pressure which the device is supposedly able to resist.
